clothing, for guys.

Tooya: Nothing wrong with that.

never: did I mention my hair was highlighted too? ... o.o or is that meh in college?

depends how fashion-oriented the school is. if fashion is a big deal to the students then it wont matter but if everyone dresses like they woke up 5 minutes before class then it will probably looked down upon and you will be called a fag or something.

Hmm..... So I guess Princeton's recognition as one of the preppiest universities in the nation, kind of exerts a lot of pressure huh :D

Oh boy. I want to "prep it up" this summer. But I don't want the pointless pre-torn A&F clothing. I want something respectable that says I've got class. Idk.... I have the whole summer to figure it out I guess.

Any suggestions?

Tooya: You're female, right? If so, that's okay.

actually he is male....and there is nothing wrong with guys that have highlights if it is done well

i think lol

hey if girls like it..

Spets: As long as it's done well, sure. I just have a problem with guys (or girls, but really, guys are the ones that look like the dumb ****s the most) that get all dressed up and spend an hour before class doing so. Shower? Good. New clothes? Cool. Comb hair? Great. Exfoliate and moisturize? Put on your suit? No thanks.

agreed I suppose, though I still say everyone should just do what they want

omg.. this post is completely (afraid to use the "g" word)... I'm sorry but you guys need to throw all caution out the window, not care what others think, be yourself, I mean come on, you guys all sound like a bunch of self-indulgents when I read these posts. Just my .02 ...... Let the flame war begin!!!

The problem with A&F and Hollister and all is that they're sized for thinner people. I'm a leaner guy with a 31" waist but I'm also more than the typical 40 inches through the chest.. and I'm not interested in my arms and chest bulging out against a polo shirt. I've always considered that a bit tacky, blatantly displaying one's body.

Haha, Se

Was able to find some nice Levi's & khaki's for son at Walmart, of all places; great that the FIT! Was also able to find some nice cargo shorts at Macy's. Always glad to find clothes that fit & don't cost a fortune so we don't have a larger dent in our finances than we'll already have from expensive schools. <sigh></sigh>

yeah/ clothes cost hella money

Some clothes do, some don't.

alright cool

...........................

somehow the topic of this thread changed.
