Clothing for interviews

What is best for a girl to wear for interviews?

Schools dress code, booted up a notch.

I'd do a J. Crew run if available :)

My outfit is a pair of black flats, a plain, knee length skirt, and a white oxford shirt. I'd look at the school dress code and find something that is considerably modest. Or you can look at some pictures in the guide book on that particular school. Either way, look presentable. I'm sure there are more detailed threads dedicated to this. Try searching those. Good luck applying :)

Thanksss that was very helpful!

i wore a beige skirt that went to my knees, a fancy-ish brown top, incredibly uncomforatble shoes. gold earring and a cool (but mature) necklace. cood luck!

I have two different outfits I purchased... I can send you a PM link to a picture of them, if you'd like to see.

One is a formal patterned black dress, and another is a nice white jacket, which I wore over a red shirt and dark pants. I went with the dress for the school with a more formal dress code (of the two schools I've visited so far), and the jacket for the school with casual dress.

Get some nice shoes, too! I think it's always better to be over-dressed than to arrive in jeans and a t-shirt.

Good luck! :)

I would highly suggest going beyond the dress code. It is much better to be overdressed.

i wore a a long wolly jacket over a nice black simple top, then straight black pants and flats
