What do they where at UPENN?

wear* of course

bright yellow suade leisure suits. get 20

Suede yellow suits haha.

extra points for bow ties

so if you're the type who actually wears sundresses and heels to h.s on a daily basis (and can walk for miles comfortably in heels), would you get funny looks at a southern school if you kept dressing like that?

Most of the kids today are out there in their jeans, jean shirt, and jean jacket

No, if you're somewhat good looking, you'll get a bunch of guys. If you're not, well, woe is you.

i think girls at southern schools definitely tend to wear sundresses and heels to class--i go to UNC, and on a nice, pretty day you won't see a pair of jeans in sight. at private schools like duke i think dressing up a little is even more prevalent.

but then again that's because duke girls aren't very cute so they feel compelled to put themselves together every morning to make up for it ;)

girls who wear sundresses are hot

well, the school i'm looking at is Georgia tech... so i'm not sure how it'll fit in. southern, but not like duke or anything.

I go to UNC and I disagree, you see a lot of girls in sundresses but jeans are always there, designer jeans are always going to be worn by some of the sorority girls. I rarely ever see girls in heels, it's usually rainbows, jack rogers, cowboy boots, etc... in the summer

"I've heard from my friends at northeastern rural colleges that the official girls' college uniform consists of Ugg boots, black leggings, hooded Northface jacket, and Vera Bradley purse. Weird."

^ That's ridiculous!! That's the first I've heard of a college uniform specifying designer labels.

yeah, i'd say people mostly wear rainbows as opposed to heels.
but seriously, on a nice day everyone is wearing a dress or a skirt. of course you won't be scorned if you wear jeans or anything, but sometimes i'll walk in the pit and think, "did everyone get a no-pants-only-skirts memo today?"

At my college, almost everyone wore a college sweatshirt, jeans (pajama bottoms for morning classes) and flip flops (irregardless of the 15 degree weather outside.)
To see someone dressed up in any other outfit was rare.
