Thank you @Midwestmomofboys. KeeperDad is the one who got us started to get to the point where we could help out a little. You have also offered some great advice on this forum! That’s what makes this so great- we can each build on one another’s experiences! If I remember correctly, while we did learn a LOT during the recruiting process, when we finally finished I had the feeling that while my son ended up where he wanted to be, much of it was by pure luck. All of the pieces sort of fell into place at the very end. He has had an amazing time academically and with soccer. The team was very successful with soccer, but more than that, he formed bonds with his coaches and teammates that he will have for years. I never imagined that things would work out so well and he could have such an amazing experience over his time at this school. Hopefully the thread you referenced will help others achieve the same results!
@takeitallin The support here is invaluable, we too learned from other’s experiences, including yours, and that smoothed the way for my son. If we can contribute to that collection of knowledge and experience, so much the better!
Congratulations to your son, I can imagine how hard it must be to see college senior night, it goes so quickly!
Thank you @Midwestmomofboys ! He is our last of 4 so there is a bit of a sense of relief that we are almost done with college (at least for now). I will really miss the soccer parents and kids that we met through the years, but certainly won’t miss the driving that we did to get to as many games as we could reasonably travel to! Good luck to your son!!
