<p>Pretty certain they do not recruit but sometimes they can have some influence on admissions particularly if it’s a successful club/emerging team. You should contact the coach/captain - their info is easily found on web.</p>
<p>It depends on your definition of “recruit”. I know some girls who were courted pretty hard by club coaches. Clubs are not restricted by the NCAA contact rules. Of course, the club coach can’t offer anything…no scholarship, no pull with admissions (or very minimal), etc.</p>
<p>Club sports can be an exciting addition to your college years. I played club and it was just enough to be fun, but not so much to interfere with classes. It gives freshman an instant group of friends and helps with the homesickness.</p>
<p>Recruit–sure, just not in the same sense that they will for an NCAA recognized sport.</p>
