I am the Secretary of a club at my school, but it ended in the middle of the year. Am I still allowed to put it on my college application as a leadership position? Like could I just list it for the year that I was an officer (2016), but not the entire school year (2016-2017)?

Yes…but you would indicate that you would spend 2 hours a week for one semester on it.
Also try not to put just that you were secreatary, but anything that you did that showed leadership.
