Hi, this is one of my first posts on college confidential but I’ve been browsing for years. I’m in the class of 2017 and I’m curious about leadership positions. My school has a new policy of letting people be president of only one thing. This year I was president of my class and treasurer of model un. Next year I will be president of model un and vp of debate. In terms of college admissions do you think it’s okay I’m trading in my presidency of my class in exchange for model un? Thanks
I don’t know from experience, but I think MUN presidency sounds better than class presidency. You know, student councils and class officers are notorious for doing nothing.
