I'm an upcoming freshman. And I was wondering; if you do a sport that practices every afternoon, how would you do clubs? I know it's possible to do both, but wouldn't they conflict? I really want to join quite a few clubs and but also do sports, but the whole time-conflict thing leaves me puzzled.

Depends. Some activities would interfere, some wouldn’t. Plus, a sport’s only for a season, so unless you do other sports for the other seasons, you’d still have 3/4 of the year to do other things.

Club meetings are usually flexible, and some hold them during lunch hours.

Yes, some clubs meet before school or during lunch also. Check what times the clubs you want to join meet, and see how it matches up to your sport schedule.

Or you can do both a club and sport at the same time: i.e. Rugby club

Usually sports here don’t start until 30-60 minutes after the bell. You have study hall and just chill while you wait for a coach/sponsor. This time you would use to go to clubs; if the meetings go longer you would just have to let your coach know or skip the rest. Clubs meet once a week at the most so it isn’t much of a problem. Clubs are also year-round while sports are seasonal.

@teenbodybuilder nice traps, i be mirin

Decently heavy weight on barbell bent over rows for 3 sets of 8-12 reps. Also do shrugs… I like using a trap bar on shrugs and some people like to go either 6-8 reps or 15+ reps on them. Find what feels good for you. I like to go 10-12 reps for 2 sets and then bump the weight up by a lot and go til failure (usually 6-8). It’s a good exercise for the end of a workout.

Back day is almost as important as leg day. :)

Leg day over everything for me @teenbodybuilder
