Clubs at Cornell

What are your favorite clubs/activities at Cornell?

Ski Club, outdoor odyssey.

If you are a prefrosh, do outdoor odyssey, it was probably the most fun I have ever had ever and the best way to arrive at college. I know SOOO many people through outdoor odyssey.

Oh my goodness! What’s outdoor odyssey about? If the name is any indication of awesome, it sounds freakin’ amazing! Do people go on adventures through gorges and woods and ****?!

Outdoor Odyssey is an orientation trip for prefrosh. Basically, you get to campus about a week or so before orientation week and you go on an outdoors trip to some place. Some of the trips are hard core backpacking and camping outside trips where you go to the adirondacks in NY state or the Whites in New Hampshire. Other trips are less hard core but still fun where you camp around ithaca and do some local things. I highly suggest the 6 day camping/backpacking trip. You spend 2 days rock climbing at peterskill, and then you back pack or 4 days in the catskills, but any trip you do will be a blast. The best part about the trips is that you know a decent amount of people by the time you get to cornell. Usually, your guides will hook you up with party connections during Orientation week and help you meet even more people. Seriously, the best friends that I have are from Outdoor Odyssey. I am renting an apartment with 4 of my fellow trippers next year, and I have a ton of friends from Odyssey (seriously, at least half of the cool people I meet did outdoor odyssey).
