Clubs = Volunteer Work?

The three clubs I am in are all volunteer based clubs [Key Club, Interact, and California Scholarship Federation]. I don't have many other "volunteer" activities besides these clubs due to the time I put into each one [I am President of both Key Club and Interact]. Would colleges count "club" activities as volunteer work, in this case? The only volunteer activity I have besides these 3 clubs is I volunteer once a week to participate in "play- therapy" for an autistic child. I do not want to lack in volunteer work when it comes to my college apps. I still have a lot of time until I apply [I will be a junior this comming school year], so if I need to, I can do more volunteer work.

Are you involved in the individual volunteer activites planned by the clubs? Do you go to the beach cleanups, nursing home visits, or whatever else your club does? If so, that's definitely volunteer work. Try to estimate how many hours you've spent doing these volunteer activities and keep a record of that.

Ummmm..... yes. Actually, the best ECs (at least in terms of convenience in terms of the app process) is having ECs that directly intertwine with volunteering.
