clubs

I really want to start a club at my school, however, I don't know how to get people interested in it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rally people in?

The hard part of starting a club is getting a teacher to sponsor the club. D got a few of her friends to join for starting one in 9th grade. After the first year, she started to advertise for more members. Those few students that joined in the beginning got to have titles such as VP, treasurer, etc.. How about put up a few notices?

Why don't you float the idea around to see if there is any desire to meet and even form a club in the first place? Hopefully your idea has at least some interest-- otherwise you're marketing an unwanted product.

i started a club last year and had 75 people show up at the first meeting. although it was a pretty good subject (photography), i did some heavy advertising on our school tv show and hung up about a billion posters. we also had free food and fun activities advertised, plus the fact that the club was free the first year. never stop promoting!!!
