<p>Does it matter how many years you have spent in a club(s)? I definitely understand that schools want that you are committed and have at least some interest in all of your extracurricular activities.</p>
<p>Yes of course it matters. If you do each club for just a year it’s like “wellll why did they even bother?”</p>

<p>Showing that you stayed 4 years in the same club is much better than joining 8 clubs for short periods during your high school career.</p>
<p>Not necessarily all of your ECs. Of course you want to have 1 or 2 activities that you’re extremely dedicated in and spend a significant amount of time on. It wouldn’t hurt if you had a few other activities that you weren’t as serious about, but still participated in. It’s almost impossible to be 100% dedicated to a ton of different activities, and it will show.</p>
