Apparently a shooting threat was posted online against the CMC protesters on November 16. It was falsely signed with the name of one of the protesters. Administration because aware of this on November 19, but did not notify police or attempt to identify the poster for several days. From what I can tell, only pressure from the protester whose name was signed resulted in CMC admin notifying the police and bringing their resources to bear to attempt to track the actual poster who made the threat. Way to protect students at CMC and all the 5Cs – or not.
