CMPS 12A/L with very little experience in programming

<p>Next year, I might take classes in computer programming, but I don't know whether I should take CMPS 12A/L or not. All experience I have is a computer programming course at my former high school, learning extremely easy stuff - Javascript, Scratch (lol, I know) and Alice 2.0. That's the only bad part. Would you think this decision is advisable? is it wise to spend time self-studying to prep for it? Thanks</p>

<p>Do a bit of study prep about Java syntax and conventions and you will be fine. Going into 12A it is most important that you know programming logic. So if you can take a problem, and turn it into a type of pseudocode, you’re good. You pair programming in that class, so if you look at the assignments for that class they are not as hard as they seem.</p>
