It might be too early (is it?), but someone's gotta start it anyway.

Good luck to everyone here- :)

i have to say, the one on the webiste is very impressive... if long. i put forth a petition suggesting we use on of those? (if so, someone should paste it into this thread so ppl dont have to keep opening the link and can copy and paste instead)

so when do we find out? and how?

They start sending out tomorrow. You will be able to find out in online 4 days after they mail your decision.

Is it true that they send acceptance letters first? I applied to MCS and H&SS. They said my decision was being mailed out today (March 22nd). They also said that their main concern was notifying accepted students first...so...WHOOP WHOOP! (I SHOULD contain myself, I mean, I could have been waitlisted at MCS, which is far and away my top choice)

hey, how did you know your decision is mailed today, you called them?

yes.
Mine is going out first part of next week. I am screwed.

^^^Same here for me too! :( I wanna just beat myself up right now cause that was my top school of all time...blahhhhh and it would be my second rejection from them. I can't take it anymore.

I called twice and both times they just told me that they were sending them out in batches but couldn't tell me when mine would be sent out.

Just 'cause your letter is sent late does not mean you've been rejected. CMU isn't that transparent in its admissions :)

JUST GOT ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ACCEPTED TO CIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live right outside of Pittsburgh..that's why I got mine so early I bet!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post stats later!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (ooo and acceptance letter comes in envelope that reads "official fat letter"...not obvious at all haha)
