Essays: Solid, kind of interesting, not particularly well-written, but content-wise, interesting.
Teacher Recs: I'm sure they were good but they probably didn't include anything too unique or personal. I got a lot of Top 10 % checkboxes..
Counselor Rec: Awesome, I had an hour-long conversation with her and told her my life-story, helped out a lot.

<p>MCS is awesome, can't really see myself there, but it still an option. Waiting on the finances, you know? This is the 2nd toughest school at CMU to get into, so I'm happy with it. (SCS being the toughest)</p>

<p>thank you!! interestingly, applying to the music school for composition and computer science is a new fad. When I told my interviewers/audition people at CFA that I was also applying to computer science, they said "ANOTHER ONE! HAHA!" So I felt less special, but it's still a really polar combination.</p>
