<p>does CMU calculate the "CMU GPA" from the grades from 10 and 11 or does it also also use the 1st semester grades once submitted to recalculate the gpa?</p>

<p>CMU recalculates GPA based on 10-12th grade, and first year grades are typically not used. They will still look at the coursework you completed, though.</p>
