I heard the MT people received calls already, did anyone straight actors receive calls yet?

not my d… and I haven’t seen any straight actors… only mt

I know someone from my region who applied for MT but got accepted today to CMU for acting. I can’t give you any more information than that.

I saw that someone got accepted for acting today - a female - on facebook.

A young lady from my D’s high school is in for CMU acting.

chrissyblu…that girl is from our region, though attends an arts boarding school out of state. She was a MT applicant. You can apply for MT to CMU and be accepted for Acting (as they only take a few MT girls). When my own child applied for MT to CMU, she ended up on the Priority Wait List but for ACTING.

I think the calls and or letters for CMU acting happened yesterday.

Have all those accepted been notified?

Not sure whether all have been notified, because I am not sure if the girl from my D’s high school (mine graduated last year) was notified by mail or phone call. Last year, however, I believe that most of the kids who were accepted for MT were notified within a day or two by phone (if not on the same day!) and the actors received calls (I believe) within some short time frame after that.

Once the accepted students have been notified, the status on the “where am I in the process?” often changes for those not accepted.

If the Where Am I is still blank at this point, do you think it means a wait list?
