1st place CMU this school makes you feel all warm and fuzzy and you just hope they love you as much as you love them. The Dance was fine, music good, drama the best. She only worked with Barbara all three monologues with no changes, she then asked her to sit down and said you are a great actress, you are elegant, mature, can do comedy, I love the tone of your voice you have great promise she then asked her what other schools have you applied to,then some more small talk my D told her that she felt her dancing was weak and she told her score was pretty good and that it would not make or break her getting into the M.T. program and then before my D left she said again you are a great actress my daughter felt that she might have given her a look of oh you must say that a lot,and Barbara said I would not tell you this if it were not true. So fingers crossed CCM gave such a positive feeling to all her friends who also auditioned, there auditions do not make you feel like another number.

I would totally agree about CMU, they are wonderful! My D had a very similar experience and just hopes they really like her as much as they acted like they did! Oh, the waiting…

My D had the same experience and we know from other students not to read in to what happens at the CMU auds. They are super friendly and positive with the kids. My D let it go in one ear and out the other.
