Colleges: (looking for science related programs, unsure of what)
Boston College
Carnegie Mellon
Columbia
Cornell
Macaulay Honors College at CUNY (queens or city)

Do I have ANY chance at any of these? ^
=P

Hey I’m also looking into some of the same schools. If youre looking into engineering you should try for Cooper Union and City (Macaulay)

For Macaulay you have a shot at definitely. Your Boy Scout leadership is good which is something they want. Hopefully your CR score goes up with this SAT (your math was already very good!)
For the rest, I guess you’re going to need a higher SAT score. They are all reaches I think

Yea if i wanted to do engineering i would probably try for city, but im undecided right now. still definitely something science/math related.

Is CMU a really big reach? I love the school and would love to go there. Same with cornell =/

Try getting some leadership positions bro. It’s really important.
Secondly, ACT/SAT and SAT II are really low man. You should have at least a 2100+/33+ for Cornell/CMU. Columbia’s quite out of reach man, sorry.

But yeah, fix up your test scores and leadership. Write good essays, and you’ll have a crapshot. Like everyone else who applies to these schools
