Thank you. Also if you could suggest better matches for me that would be nice too.

I will chance you ASAP

bump, please someone reply

bump again

bump please reply

bumpity bump

You’re the first person I’ve ever chanced, and you don’t have to chance me because I’m an adult. But be warned I’m no expert. I’m doing it because I’m curious why you think you will do worse on the PSAT than you did on the SAT? I think the PSAT is shorter, and probably a little easier.

Anyway, I’d say in at UCI and Fullerton
Good chance at UCSD
Reasonable chance at NYU, UCLA and Berkeley ( I may be off on this one)
Reach to CMU
Big reach to Rice
Huge reach to Caltech

thank you. if i may ask, could you pinpoint my weaknesses and my strenghts and tell me what you do and don’t like. thanks

School rank will help, ORM status will not

It’s not so much that I don’t like anything here, it’s that you have a few Bs and to get into Rice or Caltech you have to be very nearly perfect, and have some luck. The only thing I can’t take into account is that your school may be extremely difficult.

I could be wrong on CMU - I don’t know much about that.

I think you will probably get into at least UCLA or Berkeley, but even those can be weird. Somebody at my kid’s school got into Cornell but rejected by Berkeley.

UCSD (which is where I went as a kid), I think you have a really good chance. I’d say in for sure but somebody would probably tell me I’m wrong.

UCI and Fullerton I really think you are a shoo in.

Are you from Troy at Fullerton? If yes, your grades are pretty good. Keep up the good work. I think you have good chance to CMU, LA, Berkeley. Reach to Rice and Caltech.

I think you have a good chance at alot of the schools on your list…the only thing I have a problem with is the countless speculation, I’ll be honest here, I took AP physics last year, studied my you know what off for the AP exam and the SAT II, wanna know what I got? 5, 710…I speculated, and my friends speculated, and my teacher speculated, that there was no way I would score lower than a 760…well guess what, I did:(. I’m not saying this to discourage you, all I am saying is that I dont like speculation, you either have your grade report from the PSAT/SATII/ACT or you don’t, and if you dont we cant really give you a good chance. Anyways, since I already wrote all of this, I might as well chance you…I chance differently than most people, because the truth is when on insert day you recieve letter in the mail from X university the letter you get will either say Yes, or No! There is no, you were 56% admitted, just yes, no, waitlist. Its black and white, so I dont really do the whole High reach, low reach, match, safety, shoo in ranking system, I’ll tell you what I think the letter you’ll get from each college will say. Feel free to disregard my oppinion, as it is just an oppinion, no more or less important than anyone else’s.

I think you will get into all of:
UCI
UCSD
Fullerton

I think you will get into one of(best chance at starred):
UCLA*
UC Berkley

I think you will get into one/two or(best chance at starred):
NYU*
Rice
CMU*

I don’t think you will get into:
Caltech(possible waitlist) - just not enough reasearch and that stuff…

Chance me?

yes I am from Troy and thank you

rebump again

don’t even apply to fullerton…you are 1000 times better than that, especially since you go to troy.

rebump…thank you for all of your answers so far

Your scores are fantastic. You’re definitely into CS Fullterton, UCI and UCSD. You’re very likely to get into UCLA, Cal, Rice, and NYU. Caltech may be challenging and I’m not sure about Carnegie.

bump again
