CMU - CIT vs. UVA (Rodmans)

Got accepted to both. At CMU, I will be enrolling in CIT (probably electrical and computer engineering - focusing on embedded systems), and at UVA - got accepted to the Rodmans program. Appreciate if anyone can help answer these questions:

1) How are the engineering programs different?. Strenghts and Weaknesses of each.

2) Which of these is more known to employers? What are the opportunities if I graduate from each of these?

3) I don't think I would fit into a "pressure cooker" type of environment. How is the environment at CMU and UVA.

4) Any other information comparing and contrasting the two that will help me decide is greatly appreciated.
