Hi everyone! Would really appreciate if someone would chance me with these stats and ECs, worried since test scores are moderately low:

AP (Should I Omit?): 5-Chemistry, Calculus AB/BC, Chinese, USH, 4-Spanish Lang, Biology, CSA, Euro, 3-English Lang
GPA: 4.78 (W), 3.98(U/W)

English Teacher (7/10) - Not sure, knew me as a good student, dont know if she knew more about mee

Research Mentor (10/10) - Knew me well and wrote very personal and supportive letter

If you were rejected, I’m almost positive you can’t apply again.

I agree. I am more than sure you cannot apply again, if they rejected you the first time that is most likely not a calling to apply again.

Really? That’s odd. Pretty much every top university does not allow applicants that are denied to reapply, weird.

I agree with @ab2002 When you emailed admissions, did you make it clear to them that you were not accepted early decision?

I think CMU might let you re-apply, considering they admit you by major, not into the whole school.

This is an old thread but the answer is yes - you can apply to a different school in CMU if you are rejected in ED. This was told in one of the CMU Info sessions.
