<p>Cortana - that’s a very good question. The Medal is awarded by your high school on behalf of RPI so that may be an issue. And it is a merit award not financial aid. You are in at RPI already?</p>

<p>No, it’s not certain. They may choose to match the whole offer, only part, or none at all. It all depends on how much CMU cares about having you as a student. In fact, they are very explicit about this on their finaid website:</p>
