I am a high school senior.

Unweighted cumulative GPA: 3.4
Weighted cumulative GPA: should be around 3.42

I know my GPA is terrible. One of the reasons is because I was homeschooled up until 9th grade and seriously struggled in my freshman year. Every subsequent year has been a major improvement and I finished this year's first term with all A's and A's despite being in two AP classes, one college credit class and one college prep class. Also, in my Junior year, I botched a midterm exam and finished the class term with a C+. That dragged me down a bit. That's about it.

ACT: 27
English: 31
Math: 26
Reading: 29
Science: 23
ACT Writing: Has not come in yet

Extracurriculars:

Strong interest in computer science and computer programming, have written numerous complex programs in C# such as those that cover concepts like finite state machines, pseudorandom number generators and game engines. I have used Kismet, Blender 3D game engine and LEGO Mindstorms NXT. In my junior year, I took and passed a college class offered by a local college.

Have contributed volunteer hours to my church library (10+ hours)
Have contributed volunteer work to my high school's musicals by being part of the tech crew for 3 years (50+ hours)
Strong interest in collecting and reading science fiction books (I probably own and have read hundreds)
Blue belt in Taekwondo
I've been involved with my high school's Social Studies academic team for four years
I've played the clarinet for over four years and participated in solos and ensembles as well as marching band for three years
Over the summer, I built a suit of medieval armor
Science Olympiad
I have some other minor extracurriculars

I am extremely motivated towards computer science and robotics and would be quite satisfied with my life if the only thing I did after college was build robots and give them the code to make them move around and act like people or animals.

Do I have any chances with these schools? If CMU and Georgia Tech are not a good fit, what would be?
