I'm an international, pre-med student from Asia planning to go to med school.

Money is not an issue, but housing and weather are quite important factors, and quality of education and research opportunities, definitely as well.
I'm leaning towards CMU, but I'm not so sure if the biology education and research at MCS is the best among these three schools.
So given these three choices, which school should I go to, to best prepare myself for a med school?

Bio is NOT a strong point at CMU, but Bio-engineering is.

You really need to get the med school acceptance rates for the three schools.

Competition among bio majors heading pre-med at NYU and Berk going to be fierce…less so at CMU.

Get the data off all three school’s webpages. Many undergraduate schools have dedicated staff/office to process and handle med school admissions for their undergrad populations. I’m sure that’s the case at NYU and Berk - no idea about CMU.

Anyone?? What’s the situation on being pre-med at CMU?
Any major will get you into med school-- most important are pre-req courses in bio, chem and bio-chem and your MCATs.
