I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I can’t seem to find any information about how many students send in a prescreen for drama vs how many actually get invited to audition. Does being invited to audition actually mean something or do a majority of even mediocre performers get invited to perform for them? Is that even information that is accessible?
Thank you so much! This website has given me a LOT of answers over this years application process to calm my nerves.
Hi,
My D auditioned last year, and prescreens were not required - that is why you might not find information about it.
I am glad they do have prescreens though.
She auditioned in LA, and by half the afternoon the faculty was extremely tired. So, when you get your audition, choose the morning!
Break a leg!
I’m curious to know the answer to this question as well. Pre-screen auditions are out, and no one seems to be talking about it.
@DramaQueen219 there are a couple of postings for the class of 2022 that are discussing prescreens and upcoming auditions. I’ll try to send their names to you.
