CMU or Princeton?

As it stands right now, Princeton is unrealistic. With URM status and if the OP raises his scores to 700+, he might stand a chance.</p>

<p>nk9230- How many reaches do you already have? If you have a fair amount of matches and safeties, adding a reach wouldn’t hurt (assuming you did raise your scores).

<p>I got a 6 on Maths SL exam for IB- im pretty confident I can raise the Math II. I have been studying using for both Math II and the SAT II all summer, retaking both this fall. </p>

Does being an URM really help that much? I would rather be accepted at a school based on my Academics and ECs more so than being black.</p>
