<p>Summer</a> Study Program from Carnegie Mellon</p>
<p>I'm a current junior, and CMU is my first choice.
I'm really interested in the summer program they have there, both the AP/EA one, as well as the art/design and architecture one. How hard is it to get into these summer programs, and how many people apply?
Here are my stats
SAT - ~2230, i'm retaking it this month
SAT II - Math Level II - 800
GPA - 3.8 unweighted
I got a C in AP physics C last tri, but I'm sure it'll be an A next two tris. If i get a letter of rec from my physics teacher, will it make up for it?
I'm a mostly A, some B's student, and haven't gotten a C since last tri.
AP scores - 4 on Calc AB and APEuro, and this year i'm taking physics C and calcBC, and self studying for AP psych and AP Comp Science A.
I'm Indian, which doesn't really work for my benefit, so I'm not applying to the diversity programs. Do I have a chance at this program? Are there other summers programs I can get into?
I'm really set on CMU though
