So I have a bunch of random questions about the Carnegie Mellon Pre-college program for music theater.

Here's an honest run down of me: I'm an overweight, shy, 18 year old, female, senior from Cali who's about to finish high school for the next few months. I have always, and still have an interest in music and may consider taking a musician route in life. But I am also looking at different professions. I have had always an interest in music theater and for the first time actually considering it as a profession in my life. The most performance I have done is honestly just silly little plays when I was kid for my family and I auditioned for a musical a while back. I don't really have dancing or acting experience, and my singing experience is just me singing all the time (granted I think I have a decent voice). I am of course willing though to take any classes for acting, dancing, singing, etc. because I have a strong pull and connection to musical theater and feel like this might be my path in life.
Well time for the question part:

Is the CMU pre-college program for all levels of experience (even beginner) if someone has commitment and passion in it?

Can someone describe all the details of what goes on in the experience of the pre-college program? Like an average day, week, whatever.

If you apply and get accepted to the program can you decide not to go if you don't feel up to going anymore?

Any other programs people can suggest or describe for me?

Any other advice can someone give on a path to becoming a musical theater performer, for a scared beginner?

If you have questions for me, please feel free to ask :]
