CMU Rescinding acceptances

I know this has probably been asked before, but I'm in a panic and need some help. My college guidance counselor said a few things that made me really worried about getting my acceptance to CMU rescinded. Last semester (1st semester senior year) I had 2 As, 1 A-, 1 B+, and 1 B-. I will probably finish this semester (2nd semester senior year) with 1 A, 2 A-, 1 B, and a C in AP Physics B. I will probably get a high 3 or a 4 on the AP Physics B exam. Am I at risk for getting my acceptance reminded? I'm in Dietrich.

I’d say no.

I really wouldn’t start to worry until you start getting multiple Cs or a D. I also don’t think colleges care about AP scores either (I could be wrong). Even if they did, there’s nothing wrong with a 3 or 4.

What about lowering grant aid if grades drop? I went from straight-A’s (95-100, with average/median at 97) through the first six semesters of high school to mid/lower A’s (91-95) and now two classes (Calculus and Chemistry) dropped to B’s- 88 in Chem and a sad 83 in Calc (down from a 93 last semester). How likely is CMU to punish this? I can still take the final for Calculus, but that requires going to school for an extra day… so any advice?

the grant is need based, so no
