Hello,
Does anybody have any statistics about early decision acceptance rate or students enrolled about the school of computer science at Carnegie Mellon? I know that applying ED is a binding decision, so does that mean you have a much higher chance of getting in if you apply ED? If possible, I would like to know how the advantage of ED at CMU compares to that of other universities/programs. Thank you.
If you get admitted, they promise to meet your family’s full financial need. If you get admitted for RD, they don’t necessarily promise to meet full need. That’s a significant difference if you really need that financial aid.
