I was accepted into CMU SCS for Fall 2017, but could not attend due to familial circumstances. My mom wanted me to stay close to home, and used the fact that in state tuition was half CMU’s as reason to keep me from accepting. However, I’m unhappy at my current school. Given SCS’s infamously low acceptance rate (even for non-transfers), how likely is it that I get in for transfer Fall 2018 if I’ve previously been admitted? Thanks.
