I was wondering if I could get some advice from all of you on what school I should enroll in. I was accepted into all three of these Business programs, and I want to study something along the lines of Finance or Financial Engineering. I really don't know which school I should go to because all of them have their own great advantages. What do you guys think in terms of each schools prestige, job placement, and overall education? Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing. How does tepper compare to other undergraduate business programs?

What do you think my chances are of getting off the waitlist at Tepper? Considering the class size is like 80, I'm getting pretty nervous.

For Undergrad: Tepper in recent years is as good as Stern (IMO) if not better than it. Both Stern and Tepper are also IMO a bit better than McDonaugh.

The mode companies that hired CMU students are among the best, Citigroup, UBS, Wachovia, JP Morgan, Merrill, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Booz Allen, Barclays, Capital One, etc.

The median/mean salary for the 2 years ago was tied with #1 highest along with MIT's Sloan and Wharton (probably a bit higher including salary bonuses). The median for Tepper last year was 56,650 $60,000 (mean, median).

News articles in the past have compared Tepper's rise to overlap with Wharton students and for the past year Tepper's acceptance rate dropped to a low 13-14%.

IMO, I would choose between Tepper or Stern. If you want anything related to engineering or Computational Finance (arguably the best in the nation), I would choose Tepper. Tepper has been known by recruiters to produce very capable grads and the school is only getting better.

You will also get individual focus and A LOT of help on your career and academics as the small class size with the esteemed faculty ensure an unmatched education/degree.
