Hi,

I'm applying next year and was hoping to get an opinion from someone who has been through or is currently in the undergrad program at CMU. I was just wondering how the course work there is, and how rigorous it is.

Just a few things about me:
I have extensive background in math courses taken, ranging from multivariable calculus and linear algebra to complex analysis and work with linear and nonlinear differential equations (including Frobenius and what not). I've also taken courses at my school involving Artificial Intelligence, Parallel Computing, and DNA Science. I've worked at a local university (George Mason) in their internship program for the head of bioinformatics there in a project relating linear algebra with amino sequences, and am currently working at NIH for a genomics application of CS.

Thank you so much! :)
