I was accepted to Carnegie Mellon’s college of science as a chemistry major and I also got into CAS at BU as a biochemistry major. Im pre-med and I am thinking about transferring to engineering. I know CMU has one of the best engineering programs, but I am really not a big fan of Pittsburgh. I’m torn between the two because I like the academics of CMU more, but I like BU’s environment (Boston >>>>>> Pittsburgh). I really don’t know what to do 
you definitely seem like you prefer BU over CMU. CMU does not have a Med school and BU has a great one. However, CMU is very close to Upmc. My one teacher has affiliations wit CMU and he said most of the students study 24/7 and it’s still incredibly challenging. Overall I think you would be happier by choosing NU. Good luck

It’s just that CMU is giving me better financial aid and since I plan on going to medical school I really don’t want to take out a lot of loans unless it’s worth it
