CMU Wait List?

<p>OK, now that we’ve done the angst thing about waiting for the CMU acceptance calls, it’s time to reassign the angst to the issue of a wait list.</p>

<p>I gather that CMU doesn’t admit more students than they can accommodate if all of the accept, so they have a “priority wait list.” Sounds like a regular wait list dressed up for a special occasion.</p>

<p>My son is extremely happy to be going to Ithaca (BFA Acting), so I almost hope he doesn’t get into a wait list situation. Not that my hopes have anything to do with it, what will be will be.</p>

<p>I think those on the waitlist have already been notified. I know a couple who have been notified.</p>

<p>Ithaca is a great school with a challenging theater program. They are also very selective!! Congratulations to your son!!!</p>
