Hey guys! I’ve been especially concerned with getting off the priority waitlist for Tepper undergrad, let’s share our knowledge about filled seats and any general updates from admissions so we have a clearer picture in this anxiety-induced moment!
It’s finally the 5th, and I really hope that Carnegie Mellon has open seats for Tepper, but wish you all luck for the other colleges as well!
From a pool of 5,319 just to be accurate. Still extremely low of course.
But also worth noting that last year was atypical at most schools, with very little WL movement due to gap year students from the prior year.
8792 were offered. 5139 choose to stay on the list. 35 matriculated. No matter how you parse it though, like at many schools, getting off the waitlist is a long shot.
They sent an email stating “At this time, we have space in the School of Computer Science and think you would be a great fit for our campus community”. Yes, she is going to accept the offer.
Which college? I am still waiting for MCS as well. According to a Reddit user, only 30 offers from WL and none from MCS are expected. I am hoping it is not true.
They have given her till Monday to pay the deposit and confirm the offer. I guess they could come up with one more list once they get responses from this list.
