you're, not your

Huh? They are correct, it’s “your options” not “your’re options” which is short for “you are”.

I always assumed when posters on this board typed the wrong “your” it was just a typo, but maybe they really don’t know the difference? :(

It’s the first your that is the mistake. It should read “choose the program you’re applying to” not “choose the program your applying to”

OP should have made it clear that he/she was refering to the " ‘your’ applying to ".

I needed to make it clear? I didn’t know people with the IQ of 34 would be reading this post.

It’s common sense which one was wrong.

Moron

why again are we discussing this error on this board? contact CMU and inform them of the mispelling or accept it for the minor typo it is and move on with your day.

Ok. I e-mailed them about it. Everyone can calm down and stop insulting one another.

from OP’s link.

did they correct the words or is it here, that I hear wrong?

They corrected it. All thanks to my grammar correcting skills. I’ll wait for the applause.

Erm…what’s wrong with this dude?

I think this entire thread is a waste of space…

I hope he’s not planning to apply to CMU. I don’t think the urban campus is big enough to handle his ego.

You know, I bet that typo is the reason Emma Watson is going to Brown, not CMU.

Probably so. Sounds like something that would have made the decision between the two for her. She did consider CMU though.

I suppose our only hope now is a transfer. Preferably her transferring to CMU, not us transferring to Brown.

Isn’t she going to Columbia not Brown? Or am i just totally wrong?

No she’s going to Brown.

This is probably the most pointless thread on CC… And yet it has more posts/views than half the threads in the CMU section

Well, maybe this will be good for Brown. I mean, have you seen brown.edu? One of the worst website layouts I have ever seen. Maybe now they can slap a photo of Watson on there as opposed to… brown.
