Hi guys! So I just got into Carnegie Mellon's Tepper/Information Systems, UMichigan's College of Engineering (and potentially Ross), and NYU Stern.
I'm unsure right now on where to go. One one hand I really want to combine business with compsci/infosys and on the other hand Stern is fanfreakingtastic for finance. I was wondering if you guys had any input regarding this. Thanks!

NYU’s Courant School for Math & Comp Sci is top notch and is an excellent programs. NYU allows you to major in both Finance & Stern & either Math & Comp Sci at Courant if you want. If you are dead set on some kind of engineering you should go w/ UMich.

CMU you should really just take out of the equation - not as strong as the other two.

I’d go with Stern

It really depends on what you want to do. If you’re looking for a pure business education i would definitely go with Stern. If you intend to double major in CS/Math/whatever science I’d go with CMU. I’m a tepper freshman myself, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to Stern.I’m not doing anything tech related and so CMU was just a bad choice for me in general.

I’d agree with sternhopeful. CMU or Stern sound the better fit depending on your tech/business priorities. Michigan Engineering “and potentially Ross” is not Ross. Having said that, if The Big House means something to you, I’m told Michigan sports trumps CMU and NYU. :)

I think I’m leaning more towards CMU right now but I just can’t seem to “give up” Stern ^^" But thanks guys :)
