Co-ed Housing

Me and one of my friend, who happens to be a lady, would like to share housing a A&M. So, my question is; do hey offer co-ed housing, and if so which halls are co-ed.

Thanks guys.

I think they only offer co-ed by dorm, not by room. You might have to get an apartment and not a TAMU one. Those too do not allow mixed sexes in one apartment.

Coed dorms are same sex by suite. Off campus, many apartments require a marriage certificate to share an apartment coed occupied - you may find an exception, but it is rare. Individual homes that are rented by a group of students normally do not have restrictions - brothers & sisters often go that route as well.

Sorry if that is repetitive, but is that a yes?

No, rooms are filled only with same sex roommates. You could be in the same dorm, but not in the same room. The only exception on campus is married student housing ( marriage certificate required). You will both need to find same sex roommates or have them randomly assigned.

Thanks.
