<p>The AP article is misleading on many levels. I'll point out an open letter on the student government blog that more clearly states the purpose and intent of the open housing agreement.</p>

<p>The status quo remains unchanged: most students like living in single-sex room situations and housing will not change that. It's for students who WANT sex not to be a determining factor in pairing roommates that can sign up for open housing, and two open-housing candidates will be matched.</p>
