co-op engineering schools with a common first year for engineers?

<p>Thanks dadinator. I think RPI will probably either be off or low on the list for S2. Their costs are high and their aid isn’t that great, based on S1’s experience. I also think S2 would do better at a school where co-op is just built-in and he doesn’t have to be proactive about it, doesn’t have to go off-stream with his friends to do it, etc. </p>

<p>Almost every engineering school has some form of mini co-op option now but what we are really looking for right now is a more formal and fully-integrated co-op program. He may not end up at a co-op school, but at the moment, that is what looks like it will be a
“best fit” for him.</p>
