I was hoping someone could tell me about the physics co-ops. I know Northeastern is very strong is Business and Engineering and there respective co-ops. Since physics is a much less common major I want to make sure that if I go there the co-op program will still be strong

One way to think of it: with fewer physics majors, you are competing against fewer students for positions.
There is a variety of positions available for physics majors. A lot are on the research side, but there are also plenty in industry that are on the more engineering side of things. An example of a really cool one - I know a physics major who did a co-op at the Allen Institute for Brain Science in Seattle.
