Co-op programs!

Hi guys, Im a Highschool Junior (I know its early...very early)

The weekly earning averages at my top 3 choice colleges are pretty high. Im seeking admission into engineering.

Im just worried that I might forget some (or A LOT) of stuff from the previous term (study term) due to working full-time..how do you co-op people face this? Id much rather do a regular program, but I just cant give up the perks of having 6 terms of work experience under my belt + earning 57k to 64k before I graduate!

Thanks!

you’ll face those same issues regardless. there are lots of times where you take a course and don’t use the material for 8 months and then have to take the course which has that material as a prerequisite. If you’re in engineering you’ll have to teach a lot to yourself anyway.

Although the money makes it tempting, the notion of working for half a year and studying for the other half is not appealing to me. To each his own, however. Just do what you like to do and you will be happy, regardless :)

Well, is it more difficult than a regular system of study or is it the exact same (in terms of difficulty in academics)?
