Colorado seems like it has an abundant amount of things to offer an outdoors loving person. The area around CU is beautiful, and it seems like students have many opportunities to enjoy nature. Does anyone know if students actually take advantage of the setting? Or do most of them simply spend free time on the party scene? Is it reasonable to attend Boulder with an expectation to also have opportunities to enjoy CO and all it has to offer??

A very sizable majority of the people there at least ski or snowboard regularly, and many more also are very into mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, swimming, or any other activities you might be into. The party scene isnt that insane there where it consumes everyones life, Boulder has an extrememly active campus.

I second that view, I'm an avid mountain biker and snowboarder and a lot of my siblings' friends regularly go hiking and rock climbing a few days a week after class. There are a million things to do in and around Boulder, provided you can find the time to do them
