Coach for Girls Varsity Golf

Hello,
I am currently a male senior at my HS, and I will have 4 years of male varsity golf and 2 years of male Varsity "Captainship" under my belt. I was asked to be the assistant coach for the female's Varsity golf team this year for my school.

Will this be a good thing to put on my college application? Or will it be a waste of time?

BTW i am not referring to the time i have spent on the boy's team that i play on, but the Girls team for which i coach.

Any thoughts?
Thank you

Do you WANT to do it? If so, go for it! I think it would look good on your applications, but that alone is not a good reason to take on another obligation.

Thanks @MaineLonghorn‌ for the imput

I will already be out and working with the girls golf team this year anyway. The coach merely suggested that i should get the paperwork in and make it official. He also said, “We will make sure to take care of you”. So you think it will be a good thing to add into my app?

The only problem is that there are only 10 spaces for activities, and I want to know if this should make the cut.

Any more imput?

Thanks!

You can put this under the same umbrella as the golf activity, so that shouldn’t be a consideration.
