OK - now that we’re close to when college apps go live (Aug. 1) - what info do we have about this Coalition Application. I’ve looked at every thread and tons on the internet, but it’s still not intuitive. I’m guessing it’s not live yet since there is no application to actually see. Also, wondering if anyone wants to hazard a guess as to whether UMD will have an additional essay besides the basics on the general application?

I don’t think anyone here can answer that. If you can make a visit to Maryland, the admissions reps that run the visit day/information session/terrapin tour program will have far more insight than those of us who are on this forum and have only ever known the original Maryland application format. https://www.admissions.umd.edu/visit/dailyvisits.php
@maryversity I’m at UMD a lot with a rising sophomore there already. I just thought maybe someone here may know already. I guess we just hurry up and wait…
