I have a question…did everyone on the selecting committee (30 some people) read the finalist applications, or were they divided and each person decided which they liked…?</p>

<p>Who actually had the final say in selecting the finalist? Everyone (discussion committee) or one main person?</p>

<p>Only 4 from my state, now I don’t feel so bad.</p>

<p>ataraxis: I read from another post that two people read each application and then grade you on a scale up to 52 points (with criteria like academic strength, community work, leadership, etc. individually graded). I’m not sure if they actually did this…but that’s what i’ve heard…</p>
