I made semifinals for the Coca Cola Scholarship (2000/80,000) Should I email Stanford and tell them I got that far? Its kinda late considering I'm SCEA, but any suggestions would be nice.

Anyone else get semifinals for it? My counselor said its a huge honor.. but I think shes just being weird.

Only you can decide because it's only valuable to those who applied to it. I mean it's not an award that everyone is in the running for, only those who knew about it or who wanted to apply to it. You might want to list it on your other applications if it's important to you. There are so many scholarship programs out there that kids apply to and win so if you feel it's big and important then you can mention it or if you need more to fill up your application then you can mention it too.

also only those who participate in the Olympics win medals. The fact that not everyone is running for the award does not make it any less prestigious.

yea i figured decisions are probably already done, but i thought it might be worth something so i shot an email to my admissions officer.. prob wont do anything.. we'll see...

and if you didnt get an email or something in the mail by now then it means you're not semi finalist =/ sorry dude.
